The medieval Serbian coins introduces the medieval Serbian dinar along with its basic units. There one finds listed persons and towns whose names appear on both silver and copper coins. Particular attention is paid to the diversity and beauty of types and variants of silver coins, noting that the medieval Serbian coinage numbers among the most varied in Europe. Interesting in their own way are the heraldic designs appearing on the obverse and reverse sides of the coins. In this light are presented Cyrillic and Latin inscriptions which multiply and vary, including artistically designed monograms... This book is of great significance not only to our own but also to the European archaelogy, history, in particular the history of medieval art and history of applied arts, contemporary art as well - in general, to the entire scholarly and cultural public here and worldwide.
